Are you eating enough food for your goals??

A popular misconception I come across constantly is people dieting and starving themselves thinking they will drop weight.
Which yes you can but the majority of that weight will be water and muscle, not body fat!

Sadly as soon as you stop starving yourself and eat normally again, that weight and more will return.

Another common issue is that people think hitting there calorie intake everyday means they can still eat whatever they like as long as they are within there calorific goal. Again sadly this couldn’t be further from the truth – put rubbish in and you’ll get rubbish back – bad skin, hair, general health, diabetes, high blood pressure, increased weight, etc… The list goes on.

Here are a few simple rules that you may like to follow.

1) JERF – just eat real food.

2) Ingredients – if you don’t know what an ingredient is why would you put it in your body.

3) Eat fat to lose fat (healthy fats olive oil, coconut oil, nuts, oily fish). They keep you satisfied for longer and prevent cravings.

4) Eat the rainbow – eat a variety of different vegetables to keep your meals interesting and full of vitamins.
